Josiah Bohrer is a struggling senior at BHS. Something he enjoys is musical theater, he is currently playing his dream role of Jack Kelly thebiz-academy in Disney’s NEWSIES with the BIZ Academy. he has also been a part of many productions before such as: Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan jr. One of his most memorable characters he has ever played has to be the type casted role of Ugly in the HIT musical HONK.
Another thing Josiah finds to be auspicious is show choir. He is a part of Madrigals/Spotlight Singers and Co. Whether he’s good at it or not he likes dancing but he loves singing. At the end of the day, what he really enjoys most is performing; telling a story, and he thinks that’s what originally sparked interest into film.
He has three older sisters in which two have inspired him with his passion to perform with them leaving a legacy in both Mads/Spotlight and the BHS Theater Program. He knows what you’re thinking, “pshh he’s just an unoriginal kid following in his sisters’ footsteps,” but it’s not true, OKAY?! He has own flippin hobbies!
Like what was briefly mentioned earlier, Josiah really enjoys filmmaking and has furthered his curiosity by taking Brownsburg’s advanced TV and Broadcasting class. He is presently expanding in his filmmaking knowledge and understanding. He is still completely and evidently clueless in what he truly wants to do with his future but he knows that no matter which road he will eventually illegally speed down the skills and knowledge that he has learned through this class will be extraordinarily advantageous to had been acquired. He also thinks he is really funny.
Finally, he is very thankful for all the opportunities he’s been given, thrilled for a great year, and eager to be a part of an incredibly awesome and talented class.
